As Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh has something to offer everyone, from the internationally renowned Arts Festival to the historic Castle and Old Town, and fantastic shopping, bars and restaurants.

Despite being only two minutes from the city bypass, Kings Acre is a very peaceful, serene environment in which to play golf.

If you are traveling from a little further away than mainland Scotland, Edinburgh International Airport is only 12 miles, and less than half an hour away.

Well known for its rich golfing heritage, East Lothian is easily accessible from Kings Acre and courses such as Muirfield, Gullane, Dunbar, and North Berwick are all less than thirty minutes away. So if you are planning to play other courses on your visit, Kings Acre is the ideal place from which to base your party.

If the bright lights of Edinburgh city centre are not what you are looking for, nearby Lasswade and Dalkeith have a wide and varied selection of bars and restaurants to cater for your culinary needs. Of course, that is if you can drag yourself away from the bar and restaurant in the clubhouse itself.
